| Ndundo is a simbiant being. He is a guardian figure "attached" to You (the real YOU). After rayamiento, for exemple, it is believed that as time goes by, you start adopting some of his caracteristics, and vice versa... A Tata is to become ONE with his Ndundo. Ndundo resides in the Ceiba. That is where he is praised and where one speaks to him, bajo palo Ceiba. Of course as all other spirits that "walk" with one, Ndundo is always present. Yet the Ceiba is the preferred tree to venerate him.In my rama, he is summoned very rarely. But he is the one with the final word over all Mfumbes. |
